Accounts, trials and licenses
Audio Bridge uses your shared EURA account. You can sign in with Google, an email link or your existing password. EURA manages the verified identity through Supabase Auth; Audio Bridge manages trials, purchases, licenses and Mac activations. Opening EURA from your Audio Bridge account uses a browser-bound transfer that expires after two minutes and can be used once.
We use your email address to verify your account, send technical messages and attach your licenses. We store hashed sign-in codes and session tokens, trial dates, license status, a protected hash of your device identifier, device names and activation dates. Gift licenses may contain a recipient email and a private note supplied by the publisher. These records provide the service you request; rate limits and trial/device checks protect it against abuse under our legitimate interest. We do not receive or store your audio recordings.
Optional Eura features and feedback
Eura cards are enabled by default in new installations from version 0.4.7; device sharing remains off. When cards are enabled, the app requests catalogue validation, product images and prices using hardware model and manufacturer names. If you separately enable device sharing, the app sends connected model names, manufacturers and whether they were used in an audio stream, with a random installation identifier stored as a hash on our server. This lets the publisher review catalogue matches and count installations. No audio, serial number, Core Audio identifier or custom device alias is sent. Separate connection diagnostic sharing is off by default and requires device sharing. If enabled, it adds the app version, product association, card display result, image/price availability and a limited loading error code. Diagnostic reports are not linked to your account email. Turning sharing off cancels pending and future reports. The app also keeps a local history of up to 32 used hardware models for Your gear. Feedback submissions contain your message, category and app version, without an attached device list.
Download measurement and administration
We count installer transfers starting at byte zero by release and calendar day, without attaching an account, IP address or browser identifier to this counter. These counts do not establish unique users or completed installations. Administrator actions, support notes, activation transitions and the latest license renewal time are recorded to operate the service.
Retention
Detailed optional Eura diagnostic reports are kept for 90 days; aggregated daily counts contain no installation identifier and are retained for product reporting.
Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and are removed after expiry by a periodic cleanup. Browser sessions last up to seven days; native sign-in sessions last 10 minutes. Expired sessions and temporary rate-limit records are regularly deleted. License and activation records are kept while needed to provide your license. Trial eligibility records are kept while the trial programme operates to prevent repeated free trials. Contact us to close an account or request erasure; we will explain any minimal record that must be retained for abuse prevention or a legal obligation.
Hosting and service providers
Cloudflare hosts the Audio Bridge site, API, license database and downloads. EURA uses Supabase for the shared account and Resend for account and service emails. Application databases are configured in the EU. Cloudflare also processes technical request and delivery information, including IP addresses, under its service terms and data processing safeguards; its global services may involve processing outside the EEA. See Cloudflare’s data processing terms.
Payments and playground
Stripe processes real purchases. We use order and payment references to deliver licenses and handle refunds under the purchase contract, and retain required accounting records for ten years to meet legal obligations. Withdrawal declarations contain your name, confirmation email and purchase reference; they are retained for five years, or longer for an ongoing dispute or legal obligation. The separate playground uses Stripe’s test environment, test licenses and separate account records. Use only test card details there. Stripe processes the checkout form; Audio Bridge stores order references, amounts, payment events and license status, never full card details. The playground is restricted to the publisher’s test account.
Cookies and marketing
The secure ab_session cookie keeps you signed in to Audio Bridge. The ab_eura_auth cookies maintain the shared identity on this site; temporary sign-in cookies preserve the requested action and protect the connection. EURA uses its own session cookies. These cookies are scoped to each site, not shared across all EURA subdomains. It is necessary for the account service and is not an advertising cookie. Gift codes may be held temporarily in your tab’s session storage while you sign in, then cleared after redemption. No advertising trackers or tracking pixels are used. Transactional messages do not subscribe you to marketing. Windows and Linux update subscriptions require a separate confirmed opt-in. We store the selected platforms, the version of the consent text and its confirmation date. These subscriptions cover platform availability and launch news, and can be cancelled using the link in each email.
